Buffalo Mountain - Floyd Virginia - Summer Hike
Very hot today but a wonderful hike up Buffalo Mountain in Floyd Virginia. If you have not tried this hike you should. Spectacular views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, North Carolina, Floyd County and long western views of distant Appalachian mountain ranges.

Every Friday night in the small mountain town of Floyd Virginia, dozens of musicians gather for a feast of live bluegrass music. The Floyd Country Store is the hub of the Jamboree but musicians can be found spilling into the street sharing their love for Appalachian Music. This is a spectacle that happens without planning. It's a spontaneous event enjoyed every Friday Night by many locals and tourist alike.
