    Snowzilla turned into a wind monster after a few days. We recorded sustained winds at and above 20 mph with gusts to 50+. With all those trees it sounded a whole lot worse. Here you're seeing the snow being whipped up and rolling across our distant hay field. Floyd, VA: 10 Feb. 2010

    Well, see, the dogs created this doggie super highway through the snow and Mr. Fuzzy realized it was the same width as out plastic wood hauling sled. 1+1 = Log Luge straight to our front door!

    This is Salsa, one fun little house dog! He enjoys long walks, chillin' at your feet, and playing in the snow. Actually, he likes any sort of play! Don't you love him and want to take him home? We're told he likes children and he is OK with his foster folks' cats. He would be content to live as an "only dog" though he seems to want to play with others of his kind... he just doesn't seem to know how to say so!   • Coco and the Can

    Coco and the Can Coco is our new foster kitten as of September 4th, 2009. He was rescued from the road by our neighbor... probably as a result of someone dumping him off "in the country where he'll be safe." He's about four or five weeks old and loves his wet food.
